Stop Calling Stonehenge a ‘Computer’ — It’s a Mirror

The 1960s theory that Stonehenge was a prehistoric computer revealed more about our obsession with technological utility than about ancient reality. We project our paradigms onto the past because we’re uncomfortable with the idea that ancient people built massive structures for ritual, spirituality, and social cohesion. Not everything ancient was a prototype.
